A very traditional dark roast that is perhaps the most classic flavor in the Peace family. It does gets intense: nutty, roasty and rich. Yet you'll note a very sweet, more malty flavor, too.

    Great Roast!

    I've been subscribing to this wonderful coffee since the dinosaur's roamed the earth. Which is most days before I have my first cup 'o joe. At least, that's what they look like out of the corner of my eye. What I love about Peace Coffee's French roast is it's great, consistent flavor from bag to bag. For years. The quality is ALWAYS there. I know what to expect, I know how to brew it to my liking and I love supporting their mission. It's a win win. If you are a dark roast lover, give this one a go. If you put in the effort to make a great cup, this one won't disappoint. My suggestions: Get a good Burr Grinder (Peace offers the Baratza, which is my choice). Get a great coffee maker. I prefer the Technivorm Moccamaster when you wait for the holiday prices or renewed. There are soooo many ways to make amazing coffee. A good bean is the most important first step!

    Exceptional dark roast!

    This is an exceptional dark roast! I do need to use a little over 1/8 cup for 12 ounces of water to get a stronger flavor, but it doesn’t disappoint. Rich, bold, and definitely one I would purchase again.

    A beautiful dark roasted aromatic and delicious coffee!

    Our favorite after trying several of varieties!

    Opening the shipping container when it arrived made us want to immediately brew up a pot! If you like a dark roast, you have to give this one a try!
