WHAT TASTY TASTES LIKE

No one teaches you how to really taste your coffee. Here are some key qualities you’ll find in every batch of Peace:

ROUNDNESS

Get all the mouthfeels. Roundness is a smooth, satisfying sip that isn’t weak, heavy or sharp. Round coffee is a little sweet and feels good, not too weak or stodgy.

BALANCE

Everything hitting right. You want complexity worth enjoying, but no dominant flavors. Coffee should not be too bitter, astringent or acidic.

AROMA

Most of taste is smell. Peace Coffee has more aromatics than the average cup.

ROAST

Many coffees are overroasted. Ours are perfectly yet consistently crafted from bean to bag, so you know what to expect from us every time: Deliciousness.

HAND PICKED MATTERS

“Hand picked” isn’t just a fancy buzzword. It actually makes a huge
difference in the quality of your coffee.

Here’s why:

Coffee cherries on each plant ripen at different rates. Our co-ops pick daily to harvest at peak, when the cherries are bright red. Never before peak (green) or after (brown).

Large-scale producers use machines to harvest. They strip every cherry at one time: ripe, underrripe, and overripe coffee get mixed together. It saves them money, but it yields inferior coffee.
