You're buying fresh roasted beans, now treat them right! Many of the delicate nuances of quality coffee disappear just a few hours after the beans are ground. Capture them in your cup with the help of this sturdy workhorse of a grinder.

Well-honed conical burrs cut cleanly through coffee beans for even extraction. A 40-step grind size selector allows you to make the fine powder required to brew Turkish coffee, the coarse grind for a French Press, and numerous stops along the way.

The motor is guaranteed to last, and the burrs are machined for the long-haul (and, after a decade or so of use, can be replaced when dull), choose between black or white models.

nice and even grind
Feels sturdier than my last burr grinder and I do believe the grind is a little more even. This price is exactly what you would have to pay for it anywhere else, no more no less, so why not buy it from decent human beings?

Built to last
When we have to simply (and wastefully) dispose of so many things, it's refreshing that this grinder is built to be repaired - by the owner - though Baratza will assist if needed.
The price of the parts is very reasonable, and I like the thought of repairing so much more than replacing.

This was my first burr grinder but I can really tell how much better it does than my old blade grinder. It has helped me make a much more consistently good cup of coffee. It's fairly simple to use even for a novice. I would definitely recommend this.
