Coffee is perishable, so we’re unable to accept returns on coffee. However, if there was an error with your order, if you are dissatisfied with your coffee, have questions about how to brew it, or concerns about the quality, our expert Customer Service team is here to help you. Please reach out using our contact form. Please have your receipt and the package available.
Peace Coffee is happy to exchange non-coffee merchandise within 30 days of purchase. Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Prior to mailing an item back to us, please connect with our customer service team so we can keep an eye out for your return.

Excellent question! We value being able to offer discounts on our products from time to time, but our promotional discounts do have some limitations. If you’re using a regular promo code (not a Rewards coupon code), we do not allow multiple coupons of this type on an order. Regular promo codes are exclusive-use, meaning only one regular promo code can be applied to an order at a time.
If you’re redeeming points on an order via your Rewards Account, the limitations are slightly different. You can redeem multiple Rewards codes on any order, even if your cart contains an exclusive-use regular promo code.

- You can edit your subscription elements by signing into your account, navigating to the Manage Subscriptions section and clicking the “View Details” button on your subscription. This will take you to the Subscription Management page, where you can edit your subscription, skip, pause, add promos, and more!
- Edit your subscription quantities and grinds with "Update" or modify the entire subscription with "Swap"
- Add new items with the "See More Options" text under the "Goes well with your next order..." header, and add as a subscription or one-time order
- No payment information will be collected, the system will use your existing payment info on file, and no additional charges will be placed until the next renewal payment.

We offer 15% savings on our coffee through our subscription program, but subscriptions will not automatically ship free. We offer free standard shipping for orders over $40. If the coffee(s) you choose to subscribe to total $40 or more, they will ship free. Otherwise, standard shipping rates apply and will be added to your recurring total.

Of course! On your initial order, you can add as many coffees as you wish to your cart, just make sure that the product (size, grind, etc.) is correct and the subscription details (amount of bags, frequency of delivery) are accurate.

Only coffee items can be added to a subscription; other goods cannot. However our subscription system allows for any one-time purchase items to be added to a subscription order without adding it to your recurring subscription. The delivery of that product would be limited to one time only, and will be shipped at the time of your next renewal with the rest of your subscription.

Yes. Sign in to your Peace Coffee account online and navigate to the manage Subscriptions tab. Your current subscription information will populate here, click “Pause Subscription”. This will put the subscription on pause for the specific time you choose. A “Resume” button will show in this area when you sign in again to a subscription that is on pause.

- You may cancel your subscription at any time by signing into your account, navigating to the Subscriptions section, and clicking cancel on your current subscription. Once your cancellation is confirmed, a “Re-activate” button will show in the Subscriptions section of your account. Clicking on this will take you directly into the checkout to select new options and enter your payment information.
- When you re-subscribe, zero dollars will be charged, and the subscription will return to its original payment and shipping schedule.

We have a formal gift subscription service. If you would like to send a subscription to another address as a gift, you are able to do so. If you choose to gift a subscription this way, you are able to edit on their behalf and cancel when you would like the gift subscription to end. You can manage several subscriptions in your account which allows you to have your own subscription and manage gift subscriptions at the same time.

Occasionally, we offer promo codes for one-time use on the initial subscription order (e.g. 30% off your first subscription order for new subscribers) as an incentive to sign up! However, promo codes that are advertised on our website, social media, or email newsletters, are not able to be applied to subscription renewal orders. Since all subscription orders include a 15% discount, we think it’s the smartest way to consistently receive coffee at an affordable price!

They sure can! As you accumulate points, you can add them onto your subscription order by logging into your account, navigating to the “Manage Subscriptions” page, and viewing details on the subscription order in question. What machines can I use the EcoPods™ with?
What machines can I use the EcoPods™ with?
Our pods are specially designed for use with K-cup style single-serve brewers including Keurig 2.0. We are not affiliated with Keurig Green Mountain. They cannot be used in any Nespresso single-serve brewers.

The EcoPods™ are certified compostable in industrial and zero-waste composting facilities. They cannot be composted in your backyard compost pile. Check locally as these facilities do not exist in many communities.

What is the difference between industrial composting vs. zero waste composting vs. backyard composting?
An industrial composting facility processes food waste and compostable products into compost (a nutrient-rich soil). There are different ways to do this (aerobic is probably the most common. A zero-waste facility usually refers to a facility (of any kind) that has worked to be zero waste, this usually involved all the strategies of reduction, recycling, reuse, and composting and requires a commitment to redesign. Facilities vary widely in their process but also in standards, what they process (i.e. some just do yard waste), where their end product goes, etc. The main difference between these facilities and your backyard compost is that they are on a bigger scale and they heat the material to a higher temperature—this is required to break down the corn polymers in things like the Ecopod™, or other compostable products, as well as kill bacteria.

The EcoPod™ carton is made from 100% recycled paperboard and contains 30% post-consumer waste. This can be recycled but the clear bag that the pods come sealed inside cannot be recycled or composted.

Different coffees have different densities, so filling a pod with one kind of coffee will result in a different net weight than another.
How should I store my EcoPods™?

We suggest using an air-tight container like one of our Airscapes or an OXO Pop container. You can also use a bag clip to close up the bag the pods come in.
Why do I get a "not designed for this brewer" message on my Keurig machine when I use these pods?
Why do I get a "not designed for this brewer" message on my Keurig machine when I use these pods?
Our pods arecompatible with most single-serve coffeemakers, but not all. That being said, there might be a simple solution to make this message go away. Sometimes oils from coffee can build up over the lens making the machine unable to detect the pod. It’s likely your Keurig machine just needs a quick cleaning. The first place to start is to clean the sensor of your machine with a Q-tip. Here is a great instructional video that shows you how to do it. We use 100% coffee arabica beans. Arabica beans are used in many specialty coffee brands and are prized for their nuance, flavor, and brightness based on where they are grown.

100% of our coffee is grown using organic practices in an agroforestry system by farmers organized in Fair Trade-certified cooperatives. This means that shade cover is present on the farms we work with and proper stewardship of the ecosystem is maintained.

Our roasting and packaging machinery only ever processes organic coffee beans. All our coffees, ground and whole bean, are free of gluten, dairy, nuts, and any other additives. Some of our blends may list notes like “nutty” or “chocolatey” but these are flavor and aroma descriptions, not ingredient additions.

Yes, all of our coffee is mold free. It is tested for water activity three times: at the point of export, the point of import, and at our facility in Minnesota. If at any point the coffee had unsafe levels of water activity it would be immediately rejected.

Converting points to discounts is easy. Simply visit our Loyalty Program page, go to the ‘Redeem Rewards’ section and select Redeem against available rewards.
Rewards are available to use with other Peace Coffee website promos, and multiple rewards coupons should be usable on the same order as well!

Yes, your points expire after one year of inactivity.

Yes, coupons redeemed using loyalty points expire within 30 days. If you redeem a coupon and it expires, we will not add the points back to your account and the points will be lost.

If you are promoted to a higher VIP status, you will retain that status for at least 12 months. To retain that status after 12 months, you must meet spend requirements, otherwise you will be demoted to a lower status.
