backstory
In the times before caller ID, Space Jam, and the Macarena, Peace Coffee was roasting to the darker side of the bean, which was the preference of the age they call 1996. First served as the daily coffee at Common Roots Cafe in South Minneapolis, this blend inspires us with truths that small, locally, focused businesses can root themselves in a neighborhood and be agents of change that resonates well beyond their property borders. We'd like to think we're a little like Common Roots Cafe in that we continue to usurp the usual ways of the coffee trade with the belief that it should always be both socially beneficial and objectively tasty.
