What's your favorite fact about coffee?
What's your dream job?
I would like to work/live on a farm with llamas and sheep, grazing the country side for days at a time. Somewhere quiet, surrounded by forest, mountains and awesome people.
What's your favorite pairing with coffee?
Early morning bike rides with a full belly of eggs and toast.
If you could have coffee with anyone, living or dead, who'd it be?
I'm very happy having coffee with Pari everyday. We got married, its pretty awesome.
Where are you to be found when not at Peace Coffee?
I'm usually hanging out in south Minneapolis riding around the lakes, heading down to the Minnehaha dog park, or sitting on my porch. I like to get out of town and do quick weekend camping trips around Minnesota. Otherwise, simply joy riding on the motorcycle.
What's your favorite fashion faux pas to commit?
Some of my clothes are so thread-bare and old that they should probably be thrown away. I could probably use a new pair of shoes too.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
Realistically, Hoh rainforest in Washington state because it looks magical and I could probably afford it. Ideally, I would love to spend months backpacking the Alps. I saw them in Austria a few years back and I've wanted to go back ever since.
If someone made you into a cartoon or comic character, what would that character's most prominent feature be?
A big fluffy tail and a dinosaur friend.
What is the best bike ride you’ve ever taken & why?
I did a solo ride from Minneapolis to Duluth a couple years ago. It was great, I didn't really have a plan other than my destination. So I just pointed my bike north and found my way. It was a great adventure where I met some other cyclist on tour along the way, saw wildlife, got chased by a couple of dogs, ate delicious food, and got a nice tan.
What music keeps you going while at work?
Lots of stuff from classic rock to trip hop. Some days its podcast/audiobooks or just nothing at all.
