While it's beginning to look like winter may come to an end and spring may come at last, far to the south in coffee lands, it's harvest time. A new harvest of coffee always brings fresh flavors to the roastery and this year is no exception. We have been preparing for this new season of coffee and have some exciting changes to share with you.
While we anticipate the arrival of the new Central American crop later this spring, we’re thrilled to have a few new offerings to share with you. The farmers at Cenfrocafe co-op in northern Peru have been long-time partners and we're excited to share their delicious beans with you in a new single-origin offering. Our roasters are raving about hints of apricot jam and toasty almonds – we hope you enjoy it just as much! We are also proud to share the Roots Blend, a rich, darker roasted coffee with accents of ripe plum and spice.
Some other changes in our lineup mean that the Nicaraguan, Colombian Dark and Colombian Heavy Pedal will no longer be available in our standard catalog list. Instead, look forward to a greater variety of offerings as our selections change with the new harvest. We will continue to partner with these farmer co-ops so you may see these coffees in your cup either in blends or on a more limited basis in the future. As always, the current make up of any of our blends is available on our website.
The advent of spring means the return of our springtime seasonal blend: the Pollinator. Here’s to ushering in a new season with our favorite springtime brew.
