New Year Price Increase
Friday, January 2, 2015
During 2014 our green (unroasted) coffee prices continued to rise and our direct costs to pay coffee farmers went up by double-digits. These costs increased for a number of reasons, including shortage concerns due to drought, climate change, and coffee rust - a fungus that drastically reduced the harvest for many of our farming partners. In response it’s become imperative that we raise our prices. Effective January 1st, 2015 our new prices will reflect a $0.03-$0.05 per ounce increase. We worked to make this a very small change for you – as we understand every penny counts. Your purchases are vital to our on-going efforts to build strong economies around the globe and roast great coffee. Please let us know if you have any questions or thoughts and thank you for your continued support of Peace Coffee.
