Coffee Fundamentals is a class designed for the coffee professional or intense enthusiast. Students will learn about Peace Coffee’s sustainability practices, the basics of coffee’s journey from seed to cup, how to talk about flavor, and how to brew professional quality coffee in a variety of methods. Practice methods will include professional level pour-overs, commercial batch brews, and espresso. Learn how to make great coffee three different ways and describe it to your customers!
This class is held in the Cupping Lab at our Roastery, 2801 21st Ave. S. Minneapolis, MN 55407. The class includes bottomless cups of coffee and a peek into the Roastery.
To guarantee all participants a hands-on experience, classes are limited to 10 participants. Please bring a copy of your order confirmation as your proof of purchase to the class. Classes with insufficient enrollment will be canceled 3 business days prior to the class date and registered students will be notified by e-mail or phone. They will have the option to register for another class or obtain a full refund.
