Triunfo Verde coffee cooperative is situated in the mountains of Sierra Madre in Chiapas.  Its namesake, the adjacent El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve, is the most diverse evergreen cloud forest in Mexico. UNESCO proclaims El Triunfo is one of the most important sites for bird migration in Southern Mexico and a number of threatened mammalian species still exist in the El Triunfo: Geoffroy’s spider monkey, margay, jaguar and puma.

Our partnership with the Triunfo Verde coffee farmers supports their efforts to be responsible stewards of their precious ecosystem. We commend Hugo (Triunfo Verde’s Manager) and the member farmers for their great work in producing fantastic coffees and serving as leaders in their local community!
