Home Brewing 101 at the Linden Hills Co-op

Join staff from Peace Coffee as we discuss the best ways of brewing coffee that’s rich in flavor, and easy on your wallet. Of course, a truly great cup starts with expertly grown beans, roasted to showcase their unique flavors. We’ll also introduce you to the basic pieces of equipment we recommend for the best brew - Melita, French Press, Santos, Toddy - as well as provide some basic tips on storing and grinding beans, getting the right temperature for your water.

YWCA - Greener Greater Uptown Celebration

The Greener Greater Uptown project is now complete! They’ve worked very hard to find quality recycled products, they bought an efficient HVAC system, found ways to reduce chemicals in places like the pool and the gym flooring and installed energy saving light fixture. Come celebrate their success in reducing their carbon footprint!
The Uptown YWCA is located at 2808 Hennepin Avenue South.

Home Brewing 101 at the Seward Co-op Grocery and Deli

Peace Coffee’s head roaster Keith Tomlinson will be demonstrating how to make a good cup of coffee at home. Attendees will receive a Peace Coffee mug and useful handouts that will make home brewing easy! The new Seward Coop is located at 2823 East Franklin Avenue, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Dave and Flo Minar will open the gates and welcome all to Cedar Summit Farm in New Prague on Saturday, June 27th for a farm tour, five-course gourmet meal, local wine, beer, Peace Coffee and live music. Red Ribbon Ride - Fighting Aids on Bikes

Join Peace Coffee for the Seventh Annual Red Ribbon Ride in 2009. This is a four day, nearly 300 mile bike ride that will start with an Opening Ceremony at 6:30am at the Mall of America East Rotunda on Thursday, July 16th, and end with a closing ceremony at the beautiful State Capitol in St. Paul, July 19th at 1:30pm. Free Peace Coffee will be served at the start of the ride!

The dollars raised for this event benefit seven incredible Minnesota AIDS service organizations. They are: African American AIDS Task Force, The Aliveness Project, Clare Housing, Hope House of St. Croix Valley, Minnesota AIDS Project, Park House, and Rural AIDS Action Network. The National Sports Center Velodrome will host the 3rd Annual Peace Coffee 2-Day Grind - showcasing team cycling from the Golden Age of Cycling. The Peace Coffee 2-Day Grind combines strength, agility and teamwork in an exciting series of races pitting 2-person teams in sprints, endurance races and the popular Madison - named for its birthplace, Madison Square Garden.
